Hosted by Annwyn Avalon

Annwyn Avalon is a Water Priestess living in Avalon. She is the Author of The Way of the Water Priestess, Water Witchcraft: Magic and Lore from the Celtic Tradition, and The Celtic Goddess Grimoire. She is the founder of Water Priestess Training, The Water Priestess Confluence, Bewitching the Waters Symposium, and Triskele Rose Mystery School, an Avalonian Tradition. She has devoted her life to the study of Esoteric Water Mysteries. Her path is one of sacred service to the waters of this world and her ancestors. She is an initiated Witch and Priestess, Reiki Master Teacher, and award-winning Dancer, and she has a BFA in sculpture and a BA in Anthropology. She has also received an apprentice certificate in Herbalism. She writes for the UK's Magical Times Magazine and has contributed to other publications, including Brigid's Light: Tending the Ancestral Flame of the Beloved Celtic Goddess, This Witch, and Witchology Magazine. She is the author of the Patheos Blog Water Priestess in Avalon (fka -The Water Witch). She now lives in Glastonbury as the sacred steward of Chalice Orchard, the former home of the famous occultist Dion Fortune.

Master Class: Restoring the Poisoned Well

For the last 3 years, Annwyn has been serving in the physical world at one of Glasonbury’s famous springs. Everything came to an abrupt halt in the fall of 2025 when she suddenly resigned. Tired of lies, gossip, power struggles, corruption and secret meetings behind her back with those in power trying to control her life outside of her volunteer work, she retreated into solitude to heal, recalibrate and regain sovereignty. This is not a new story, though. This is the story of the Well Maidens, how they were abused, and those with greed and corruption in their hearts sought to assault and corrupt the sacred wells. Like the Well Maidens, Annwyn sought refuge to restore her own inner well and return to sacred service in a new way. In this Master Class, Annwyn will speak about restoring the Poisoned Well and how what happened to her is actually happening to many of us on a personal and global scale. Environmental Impact, The Village Witch scapegoat archetype, Well Maidens, restoring sovereignty, and practical methods to restore the “poisoned well” within and without will be discussed.

Sacred Steward of Tech and Support - Priestess Tiffany

Tiffany Marik is an Avalonian Priestess and Rose Matron within the Triskele Rose Mystery Tradition. A White Rose Initiate based in Phoenix, Arizona, she serves the broader Avalonian community through Cauldron of Avalon, where her work centres on devotion, ritual integrity, and the weaving of magic into daily life.

Within the Water Priestess Confluence, Tiffany serves in a role rooted in care, coordination, and sacred stewardship. She approaches organisation, communication, and logistical support as devotional acts, honouring the belief that tending the container is as holy as what unfolds within it. For Tiffany, the practical work that holds a gathering together is itself a form of priestessing, an offering of presence, intention, and love that allows the magic of the Confluence to flow smoothly and fully.

Often known as The Broth Witch, Tiffany is especially devoted to sacred cooking and hearth magic, crafting magical soups and broths infused with intention, chant, and spiritual alchemy. Her work reflects a priestess path rooted in nourishment, steadiness, and quiet devotion, reminding us that sacred service is not always visible, but it is always vital.

Through her ongoing work within Triskele Rose and Cauldron of Avalon, Tiffany supports practitioners and communities by holding space, maintaining containers, and honouring the holiness of the work that happens behind the scenes, where the magic is made possible.

Waters of Transition: Exploring the Fluid Thresholds Between Life, Death, and Renewal

This conference invites us to journey into the symbolic, emotional, and ecological dimensions of water as a mirror of death and transformation. Across cultures and epochs, water has been revered as both the cradle of life and the passage beyond it — a sacred element that carries souls, memories, and meanings through cycles of loss and renewal. Through the lens of thanatology, we will explore how water accompanies human experience at the thresholds of existence: from the first breath to the final return. Presentations and workshops will weave together insights from psychology, ritual studies, environmental humanities, and spirituality, inviting participants to reflect on the fluid nature of grief, the rituals of cleansing and release, and the continuity of life within the great water cycle. Together, we will dive into questions such as: How does water reflect and hold our experiences of mourning and rebirth? What can the language of water teach us about impermanence and continuity? How can ritual, art, and ecological awareness support our navigation of death and loss? This gathering honors water as both teacher and companion in the study of death — reminding us that even in endings, there is movement, renewal, and return to the source.

Paz Elemental is an ordained Priestess of the Goddess from the Avalonian Tradition and a Water Priestess from the northern coast of Chile. Since childhood, she has heard the ocean whisper her name — a song carried by the tides that called her into remembrance of the ancient bond between women and the waters. The sea became her first temple, the waves her teachers, and the mists her veil of initiation. In recent years, Paz has immersed herself in the study of thanatology, a discipline that has opened a profound dialogue between death and water within her. Through this work, she has come to understand death not as an end, but as a deep current of renewal — the same rhythm that moves through the tides, cleansing, releasing, and giving birth again. This sacred dance between dissolution and rebirth has become one of the most intimate aspects of her spiritual service. Paz is the founder of the priestess training “Nacidos de las Aguas” (Born from the Waters), a living temple and initiatory journey that gathers students from Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Spain. Through rituals, meditations, and oceanic devotion, she invites others to listen to the voice of the waters within and to rediscover their own fluid nature.

Returning to Abandoned Temples: Healing through Self Devotion

Venus’s shrines in Paphos, Cnidos, and even Cythera itself were no longer their destinations. Her rites were neglected, her temples abandoned, her cushions were trodden underfoot, the ceremonies uncelebrated, the statues un-garlanded, the altars cold with forsaken ashes. — Lucius Apuleius: The Golden Ass, translated by A.S. Kline

Let us return to what was abandoned. The places of worship and reverence, the places that held flowers and song, the places that swelled with love and desire. The places that healed. But even Aphrodite’s temples were abandoned.

Together, we will return to Cythera, Knidos, and Paphos, temples of her birth, travel, and celebration to find the parts of ourselves that we may have neglected. We will meet Aphrodite’s sacred names beside the waters that bore her into being and granted protection to weary travelers. Expect storytelling, meditation, writing, and devotional practices that heal and hold you in the waters of these times. Let her waters soothe you. Let this magick remember you.

Bio: Irisanya Moon (she/they) is an author, witch, international teacher, poet, and Reclaiming initiate who has practiced magick for 20+ years. She has taught in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia, bringing her blend of grounded, graceful, and radically authentic facilitation to inspire transformation and liberation at the personal and collective levels. Water, Trees, and Memories

As Water Priestesses we know that water holds memories. We will explore how the Standing People, the great trees, are an essential factor in the transpiration cycle of water. They also hold memories within their tree rings, records of all events connected to them and around them. What happens when the memories of trees are traumatically released in disasters such as hurricanes and floods? As the trees are broken apart and their rings exposed to the waters do their memories transfer out into the mass water memory which is also being severely altered by the storms? As the water source becomes more polluted are the toxic memories in the water taken in by the trees’ roots, transpired out from their leaves? Could this be part of what we see in the collective memory of humans falling into insanity, dementia, and craziness?

We will Spirit Journey to travel inside a Spirit Tree, access memories both planetary and personal, and connect with the consciousness of trees and water to help us remember our role as Water Priestesses. We will journey through the vertical river inside the Spirit Tree through its sacred chakras, experience the exchange of memories between ourselves and the tree, and receive a special heart chakra opening from the Spirit Tree.

Singing With Springs: The Enlivening Power of Song

As springs rise from the depths of the Earth, our songs rise from the depths of our bodies. This lecture-ceremony invites you to remember the ancient relationship between voice and spring - where sound becomes offering and song becomes flow.

Drawing from research on the voice-water connection and stories of dried-up springs reawakened through song, we’ll explore how singing can enliven both our inner and outer waters. A guided sonic ritual will attune your liquid instrument and uncover tones to carry to the springs of the Earth. Intuitive singing with water is part of our blueprint - a remembrance that lives in the waters of our body, waiting to be awakened and expressed. You will leave feeling more attuned to your instrument and its loving power.

Please bring a cup of spring water to sing with.

Bio: Sophia Edlund, PhD, is a voice-water priestess, singer, artist and researcher devoted to restoring the sacredness of song. After a decade in academia (literature, theatre, performance & voice studies), she followed the call of the sacred feminine to create offerings that weave science, myth and voice. Her doctoral work explored siren song, interspecies vocal enchantment, and the vibrational relationship between voice and the natural world - an inquiry that continues to ripple through her ceremonial and teaching practice today.

Through one-to-one singing sessions, group ceremonies, lectures, guided meditations, and evolving creative works, Sophia supports those who feel called to sing again, to reunite their voice with the natural world, reclaim their resonance, and remember their soul’s song. Guided by the waters, the unseen realms, and the ancient singers who still remember that every voice belongs to the harmony of life, she serves through Siren Song Medicine & the Voice Water Temple, evolving sanctuaries for voice, remembrance and reverence. Zinnia Sophia

Tanit of Ibiza - The Water Alchemies of the Mediterranean Mother Goddess

Journey into the ancient mystery of Tanit, the Mediterranean Mother Goddess of sexuality, fertility, death, and rebirth—whose spirit still pulses through the island of Ibiza. Once revered across Carthage, Phoenicia, Libya, Malta, Sardinia, and the Mediterranean world, Tanit was honored as the guardian of the life–death–resurrection cycle, the protector of souls, and the preserver of sacred feminine power. Ibiza was her holy island. At the cave temple of Cova des Culleram, priestesses once danced, prayed, and called forth Tanit’s blessings of healing, fertility, and spiritual renewal. The island became known as a sanctuary of rebirth—a place where the waters, springs, and earth were believed to restore the body, heart, and spirit. To this day, seekers travel to Ibiza to be transformed by her magnetic presence. In this presentation, we explore Tanit as: * Ancient Mediterranean Mother Goddess whose symbol awakens remembrance in the body. * Beloved Protectress of Carthage, guardian of the Underworld and the dead. * Mistress of the Cavern and the Necropolis, who teaches that descent is the doorway to rebirth. * Primordial Creatrix, born of the Waters-That-Were-Before-All-Things, who restores the womb of wholeness. * Keeper of Sacred Water Rites, who purifies, opens, and summons the ones who are ready to return to her embrace. We will trace her origins from Berber and Libyan roots to the Phoenicians who spread her worship across the Mediterranean, study her connection with Egyptian Isis, and receive the living mythos of Ibiza as an island of initiation—where the feminine and masculine seek sacred balance once more. This is an invitation to remember to return to the Goddess of Regeneration, Mystery, and Metamorphosis. To feel Tanit as a guide, protectress, and presence—one who brings us home to our deepest cycles of life, death, and rebirth.

Mrs Meg Avon

Why Aren't Rivers Safe to Swim?: A Story of the River's Bride

In this deeply personal and poetic talk, Mrs Meg Avon—the UK’s first River Bride—invites us to dive beneath the surface of our waterways and ask a question both practical and sacred: why are our rivers no longer safe to swim in? Blending meditation, storytelling, and eco-poetry, Meg shares her journey of falling in love with the River Avon and choosing to honour it through a symbolic marriage ceremony. What began as an act of love became a call to action—a ritual that made visible the pain and pollution that our rivers quietly endure, and the love that keeps our rivers alive. What body of water would you marry? What could 'to have and to hold' look like in this relationship?

Through pilgrimage reflections, empowering humour, and beautiful River Bride photography, Meg weaves together science and spirit, activism and art, to remind us that every river carries memory, meaning, story and a pulse of divine intelligence. This presentation is both a lament and a celebration—an invitation to re-imagine our relationship with water, to become guardians rather than users, and to rekindle a sacred trust between human hearts and the flowing soul of the Earth.

Bio: Mrs Meg Avon is a poet, celebrant, and eco-spiritual artist from Bristol, England who, in a sacred act of devotion, became the United Kingdom’s first River Bride by ceremonially marrying the River Avon in 2023. Her wedding to the waters was both ritualistic and a revelation—a living prayer of love for the Earth, performed in honour of the divine feminine flow that sustains all life. Through song, spoken word, and ceremony, Meg continues to channel the voice of the River themself, reminding us that the waters are not inanimate channels but sentient beings, lovers, and healers deserving of reverence and care - as they care for us.

Since her union, Meg has continued to walk the watery path as a guardian and ambassador for river spirits, merging activism with artistry and ceremony. Her performances, poetry collection My Avon, and collaborations with wild swimmers and river guardians embody a message of sacred stewardship and ecological awakening. She invites all who meet her to enter into deeper communion with water—to listen, to grieve, and to celebrate the living currents that connect us. Through her flowing presence, Meg Avon calls us home to the heart of the river goddess within us all.

Inner Waters: Navigating the Depths of the Menopause Portal

Within every woman lives an ocean of inner waters…the tides of memory, intuition, emotion, sensuality, ancestry, and transformation. In midlife these waters begin to move in unfamiliar ways. What looks like imbalance, loss, or decline is instead an initiation, an invitation to dive deeper inward. In this session with Sandra, you’ll explore menopause as a rite of passage, a threshold where surface waters recede and deeper currents of wisdom rise.

You’ll experience a guided descent into your own inner ocean and a ritual to release old identities so you can transform menopause into a watery portal back to your body and power.

Bio: Sandra Mayeux is an energy healer with 31 years experience, a water priestess, a self proclaimed mermaid, and a midlife midwife for intuitive women over 40. She helps women navigate the menopause portal as a powerful rite of passage. Sandra weaves feminine embodiment, womb wisdom, and water ritual into practices that awaken intuition, release old identities, and reconnect women to their inner waters. Her work invites women 40+ to experience midlife not as decline, but as a deep and sacred return to themselves and their power.

Pre-Recorded Presentation: After the Flood: The Healing Power of Watery Cataclysm

When we choose to serve Water, we often learn some lessons that we didn't fully anticipate and could never fully prepare for. SACRED, for instance, doesn't mean gentle, easy, or subtle all the time -- not even when we are talking about Sacred Water. And sometimes, at first glance, “healing” and “blessing” can look and feel and actually be synonymous with trauma and loss and devastation. TW: I will be talking about and showing images of a natural disaster (flood) which has resulted in my temporary (but currently still ongoing)houselessness.

Bio: Laurelei Black is a hedge-rider, a Cunning Woman, a traveler on the crooked path. She is a priestess of love and pleasure, an Ishtar-woman, an Aphrodite-woman. She is a friend to daemons and a mate to the Red God. A bone collector; a temple dancer. A daughter of Avalon. Laurelei is the author of over dozen books on Aphrodisian and Witchcraft practice, the co-founder of the Spiral Castle Tradition of American Folkloric Traditional Witchcraft, and has been a Director and frequent presenter at the Babalon Rising Festival, a co-host of the Water Priestess Confluence and the Bewitching the Waters Symposium, and a co-owner of Midian Events. She remains the co-owner of Driftwood Tiny Retreats and the proud proprietress of Asteria Books & Events and also of Blade & Broom.
